We had the most amazing experience with Masha Lou Photography for our engagement shoot! Our photographer, Yana, was absolutely lovely - she brought such great energy and positivity to the session, which instantly made us feel comfortable. She knew exactly what shots to take and guided us through every pose so naturally that we never felt awkward or unsure of what to do. Yana also suggested different spots around the location that turned out to be perfect for photos. She has such a natural eye for photography, and it really shows in the final results. The photos came out so beautiful! She worked quickly and efficiently, moving us from one spot to another, which meant we got a great variety of shots in a short amount of time. I booked my engagement photos with Masha Lou Photography and from start to finish the entire process was amazing! Booking and picking a date was easy and the week leading up to the I was paired with one of their very talented photographers Yana who helped me decide a time and location in Central Park. Yana helped me with a number of suggestions for locations based on my vision for the day. The shoot itself was better than we could have hoped for. I booked an hour time slot and Yana not only captured the proposal beautifully but took us around the park for a number of locations. She was so professional in how she directed us throughout the day and we are so happy with how the photos came out. Photo delivery was so fast! Wow! Masha Lou Photography was fantastic for our surprise engagement shoot in the city! We had Yana as our photographer and she was super communicative, sending photos of the location and helping navigate a back up location or two. Me and my partners experience with Masha Lou was great. She sent one of her experienced photographers, Yana, to capture my surprise engagement to my partner in The Met and we were able to venture into Central Park with the 1.5 hours of time I had scheduled. Yana was amazing in having us pose and talking us through creating a perfect day for our engagement photos. It was a wonderful experience, I booked the engagement photoshoot with Yana. It was so easy to organize, get any questions answered, guidance on the location and the best timing for light and yet less people. I created a mood board ahead of time, which had a mix of different styles and Yana constantly referred to it back during the photoshoot. She studied it carefully and captured it perfectly. I was honestly not sure how it would turn out but it ended up exceeding my expectations. Yana was also very nice during the photoshoot, and was giving us all of the directions on what to do, how to position our bodies, who should stare where, kissing, etc. which really helped as both my fiancé and I were still processing the proposal. We did an engagement shoot with Yana as our photographer. We had mapped out a pretty ambitious plan from the Met to Grand Central to Dumbo.  Yana was very responsive during planning and gave great feedback on how to hit all our locations, and she timed it out so that the pace was brisk but not rushed or stressful.  She was very kind, gave clear directions, and helped to make sure we didn't look awkward in our photos. We were nervous because we don’t take photos often and she made us so comfortable. She gave the perfect amount of direction and encouragement. From booking to the session itself, everything was seamless with the Masha Lou team. Our photographer, Yana, was receptive to my plan and executed! Upon arriving at our site, she was incognito, which allowed her to capture the surprise proposal! A true professional with great depth of field, focal points, iso etc. — not to mention the turn around time of 500+ shots from our hour session? My Masha Lou photoshoot went very well. My photographer Yana was an absolute charm and a total professional! She engaged me on multiple levels, would show me the shots as we progressed, and made me feel totally at ease and like a superstar model LOL :-) Even though it was my very first photoshoot in my entire life, from the very beginning I didn’t feel awkward or self-conscious. I think a big part of it was my determination to just have fun on the shoot and Yana totally going along with my vibe. Another part of it was Marsha’s sartorial tips - I tried on different outfits with her on our Google Meet call before the shoot. That made a big difference by making me feel prepared and confident that I was going to look my best on the shoot.
