Masha shot my fiancé and my proposal and she was AMAZING.  Not only did she get probably hundreds of pictures to choose from, she truly captured the feeling of the moment.  She helped my fiancé surprise me on governor’s island and was flexible as plans changed. Very pleased with the whole process and how the photos came out. We planned out the location and exact details of how my proposal would occur about a week in advance. Everything was smooth and the photographer did a nice job capturing many moments in Central Park. From booking to the session itself, everything was seamless with the Masha Lou team. Our photographer, Yana, was receptive to my plan and executed! Upon arriving at our site, she was incognito, which allowed her to capture the surprise proposal! A true professional with great depth of field, focal points, iso etc. — not to mention the turn around time of 500+ shots from our hour session? Originally, the thought of planning a surprise proposal with a photographer seemed unnerving and I almost didn’t follow through with it! I’m so glad I did though. From start to finish this was SUCH an easy process. I’ve gotten so many compliments on the photos as well as each of them are incredibly beautiful. My new fiancé had hired Masha as a surprise photographer for our proposal in New York City. She was amazing!!! I had no idea that she was there until after the proposal, she was very discreet and helped keep it a surprise. The photos turned out amazing, and we will both cherish them forever. Never having done a photoshoot before, I was a little apprehensive and awkward about having my pictures taken. However, Masha put me right at ease! With her guidance and suggestions, we were able to capture some amazing pictures that were a million times better, more creative, and more natural that my usual iPhone portrait shot. She even sent some tips prior to the shoot, like what props I should bring and a mood board. We did the photoshoot in Dumbo, and Masha knew the location inside and out, with great recommendations on where to take pictures to best utilize the local scenery and evening lightning. Overall, I had an amazing experience with Masha and I'd highly recommend her services!!
