Working with Masha Photography was a dream! Masha is quick to respond and helped us with recommendations for where to shoot. We did our session with Yana - she was the BEST! We were nervous because we don’t take photos often and she made us so comfortable. She gave the perfect amount of direction and encouragement. Masha shot my fiancé and my proposal and she was AMAZING.  Not only did she get probably hundreds of pictures to choose from, she truly captured the feeling of the moment.  She helped my fiancé surprise me on governor’s island and was flexible as plans changed. 10 out of 10 experience!! We are from out of state and inquired about family photos and Masha Lou Photography did not disapoint. I was connected with Sasha right away. Together we collaborated on ideas for our session. On the day of the shoot, she lead us through the Dumbo area of NYC with her creative and expert eye. From booking to the session itself, everything was seamless with the Masha Lou team. Our photographer, Yana, was receptive to my plan and executed! Upon arriving at our site, she was incognito, which allowed her to capture the surprise proposal! A true professional with great depth of field, focal points, iso etc. — not to mention the turn around time of 500+ shots from our hour session? We had such a wonderful experience with Masha Lou Photography! I was coordinating a photo shoot from Texas to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary during our first trip to New York, and Masha made the entire process so smooth. She was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with from the start—something I truly appreciated while planning everything from out of state. Since it was my first time in NYC, Masha provided fantastic recommendations for photo locations and shared helpful tips on what to wear so our outfits and colors would look great in the setting. On the day of the shoot, she was warm, friendly, and made both my wife and me feel completely at ease. Her direction was clear, and she offered great posing ideas. She staged our shots beautifully and found the most gorgeous angles and backgrounds throughout Central Park. We booked an hour session, and it felt like the perfect amount of time. Masha captured so many stunning images—it was hard to choose favorites! I had initially mentioned wanting both nature and skyline shots, and she thoughtfully led us to another location within the park that gave us exactly that. She even stayed a few extra minutes past our session (at no extra charge) just to make sure we got the shots we wanted. As we walked between locations, she kept the conversation going and made the whole experience feel more like hanging out with a new friend than just posing for photos. And to top it all off, Masha delivered our edited photos with an incredibly fast turnaround—we had our Friday morning shoot and received the full gallery by Saturday evening! We highly recommend Masha for her professionalism, artistic eye, and exceptional service.
